Buying guides
Each guide covers a different decision: which PS5 setup works, how Xbox codes and balances behave, and how to tell a real price from a bad deal.
Why the boxed copy works on a PS5 Digital Edition, how PlayStation code regions are grouped, and what to check before redeeming.
Read the PS5 guide → Xbox Series X|SSupported consoles, what Rockstar says about Xbox code regions, and why a gift card, a game code and resale rights are three different things.
Read the Xbox guide → Price & regionsHow to read the official price for your country, compare editions fairly, account for tax, and spot offers that cannot be real.
Check prices the right way →Before you pay anyone
The announced US prices are $79.99 for the Standard Edition and $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition. Compare a seller's price with the same edition in your own country's store, and note whether tax is included.
Rockstar says code region restrictions follow the region of your platform account. On PlayStation, codes are grouped by country; Rockstar states Xbox codes for GTA VI are not region-locked.
Rockstar Support says the physical version contains a download code and no disc. You redeem it in the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store. Never hand over your account password to get a game activated.
Purchase planner
Pick your console, edition and account country. We show the region rules that apply and, only where an official price is verified, a planned figure. Nothing is ordered, reserved or charged.
Planned price — not an offer
USD 63.99
20% below the official US reference of USD 79.99 for the Standard Edition (source, checked 2026-11-05). Sales are closed — this is a planning target, not a price you can pay.
RegionPlayStation: Rockstar Support lists United States in the "North America" code group. A code must match the country of your PlayStation account.
PaymentCard is a preference only. No card payments are accepted. If sales ever open, cards would be handled on an approved payment provider's secure hosted checkout, never typed into this site.
What the file containsYour four choices, the verified reference and planned figure where one exists, the creation date, and a clear statement that it is not an order, invoice or price guarantee.
FAQ
Not now. The store is not open, and we have no supply agreement with Rockstar Games, Take-Two, Sony, Microsoft or an authorised distributor. We accept no orders, pre-orders or payments. If anyone asks you to pay "GAMEKEY GLOBAL", it is not us. Current details are on the project status page.
No. The official page is rockstargames.com/VI. GAMEKEY GLOBAL is an independent guide and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.
The official sources we checked on 5 Nov 2026 list only PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC version has not been announced there. Official confirmation required before planning a PC purchase.
No. Rockstar Support states that the physical version contains a download code and that a disc will not be included. The physical Ultimate Edition does not exist; boxed Standard owners can buy the Ultimate Edition Upgrade digitally after redeeming their code.
It depends on the platform. Rockstar Support says PlayStation codes only work on accounts registered in specific country groups, and recommends buying from a retailer in your account's country. For Xbox, Rockstar states the GTA VI codes are not region-locked, but your Microsoft account country still controls store prices and balances. See the PS5 and Xbox guides.
It is an internal target: 20% below a verified official price for the same country and edition. It is not a price you can pay, not a former price, and not a promised saving. We show it only where the official reference is confirmed — today that is the United States. Everywhere else the planner says "Official confirmation required".
Neither is enabled. If sales are ever lawful and approved, cards would be handled by a licensed payment provider's secure hosted checkout, and Bitcoin only after a legal review and with a per-order invoice system. Today there is no card field, no wallet address and no QR code on this site — by design.
