Privacy: what this site actually does with data

What we collect

There are no user accounts, no newsletter, no advertising and no analytics or tracking scripts. To place an order we do not ask for your name, email, address, card number or ID. For each order we store: an order number, the product, the price, the bitcoin payment address and amount, the payment status, and — only if you enter one — a refund address. Your order page is protected by a secret link; we store only a scrambled (hashed) copy of its key.

What is stored on your device

The purchase planner saves four choices in your browser's localStorage under the key gkg.planner.v1: platform, edition, purchase country or account region, and payment preference (Card or Bitcoin). They are saved so the planner remembers them on your next visit. They are never sent to us or anyone else.

• To delete them, press Clear saved preferences in the planner, or clear this site's data in your browser settings.
• If your browser blocks storage, the planner still works for the current visit and tells you that saving is unavailable.
• We do not set cookies.

The plan file

"Download purchase plan" creates a plain text file inside your browser and saves it to your device. The file is not uploaded anywhere. It contains only your planner choices, the creation time and price notes.

Hosting

This site is designed to be hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data — such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested — to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. That processing is governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy. We have not added extra logging or analytics on top of it.

Links to other sites

We link to Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, PlayStation, Xbox and Cloudflare. When you open those links, their own privacy policies apply.

Payments

Payments are made in bitcoin directly to the seller's wallet; no payment company is involved and no card details are collected. To show the price and confirm payments, our server asks public services for the bitcoin price (mempool.space, Coinbase) and for the payment status of your order's address (mempool.space, blockstream.info). These requests contain the payment address, not your identity. Bitcoin payments are public on the blockchain by design.
