Official reference prices

We do not publish converted prices for other countries. Exchange-rate maths produces numbers no store actually charges, and local prices often include tax that US prices do not.

How to check the official price for your account

1. Sign in to the store for your console account: PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store. Prices depend on the account's country.
2. Open the Grand Theft Auto VI product page and pick the exact edition: Standard, Ultimate, or the Ultimate Edition Upgrade add-on.
3. Note the currency and whether the store says tax is included. Store prices in the UK and EU usually include VAT; US list prices usually do not include sales tax.
4. Compare a retailer's price for the boxed code only with the Standard Edition — there is no boxed Ultimate.
5. Check the date: pre-order bonuses (the Vintage Vice City Pack) apply to orders and purchases before 20 Nov 2026.

Tax and regional differences

Two prices are only comparable when the country, currency, edition and tax treatment all match. A US price before sales tax cannot be compared with a European price that includes VAT. Regional prices also differ because publishers and platforms set them per market — that is normal and is not a discount.

Offers to walk away from

• A price far below the official one for the same country and edition, with no named authorised source.
• "Works in any region" claims for PlayStation codes — Rockstar lists strict country groups for PlayStation.
• Advice to change your account country, use a VPN or log in to someone else's account to make a cheaper code work.
• Requests for your account password, or to pay through gift cards or crypto to a private person.
